Various motherboards that support BMC have the fan profiles settings within IPMI
You can access them by logging into the IPMI web GUI on a browser.
Type the allocated IP address linked to the management port in to a your browser
login with either “admin” and “password” or “admin” and “admin”

Once logged in you can navigate to settings on the side panel and then to fan settings

From here there are a range of tables and controls that can used to create custom profiles
The open loop table for duty and temperatures, the closed loop for timings and increase, decrease percentages. then temps and sensors which allow you to utilize various sensors.

Once you have the desired configuration in the tables be sure to set the fans to “Customized” under “FAN mode” so that the settings take effect
