We openly admit we aren’t Linux experts or strictly support it but we have gathered some tips and fixes along the way

Here are a few tips and fixes to try when running into some trouble!

Try Ubuntu without installing
Install Ubuntu

 

Highlight the option you normally use and push “e”

Now we need to edit the line which starts with “Linux” it will look like this:

Linux           /casper/vmlinuz file=cdrom/…… …… …… …….. quiet splash ---

 

On the end of this line but before the “—” add this “nomodeset”

It should look like something like this:

 Linux           /casper/vmlinuz file=cdrom/…… …… …… ……. quiet splash nomodeset ---

Now push F10 and wait, you maybe met with an error but then Ubuntu should attempt to load the installation
